Video tutorial: Getting started with Neurocad

This walkthrough takes you from first sign-in to your first generated part: installing Neurocad™ Link, running a workflow, and sending a native asset directly into your EDA tool. No prior experience required. The checklist below has everything to have ready before you press play.

Before you start, you'll need:

  • A Neurocad™ account. Register here.
  • An authenticator app for multifactor authentication, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator
  • Neurocad™ Link installed (available from your account page)
  • A source document: an image, PDF, or datasheet for the part you want to generate

What the video covers:

  1. Signing in and finding the Getting started guides
  2. Installing Neurocad™ Link, the desktop service that writes assets directly into your CAD tools
  3. Selecting a source file and framing the relevant section so the agent reads the right content
  4. Choosing an output type, adding a prompt, and generating
  5. Reviewing the preview before anything is committed
  6. Sending the finished part to your desktop, which in this example lands straight in KiCad's footprint browser
