Download and install Neurocad Link

Download and install Neurocad Link

Neurocad Link is a small desktop companion app that gives your CAD applications a live connection to Neurocad. Once it is running, a recipe can finish and your file is already open in Altium, Fusion, SolidWorks, Cadence, or Inventor - no download, no manual import, no save-then-reopen step.

Neurocad Link runs in the background on your workstation. It maintains a connection to Neurocad's session service and reports which CAD applications are installed and whether they are currently running. When a recipe dispatches to your desktop, Neurocad Link fetches the asset using your identity and hands it off to the right application.

Install and sign in

  1. Download the Neurocad Link installer from the link provided in your onboarding email.
  2. Run the installer. Neurocad Link will auto-detect your installed CAD applications and register them automatically.
  3. Sign in with the same Neurocad account you use in the browser.
  4. Close the window. Neurocad Link will run in the background. Note: Neurocad Link has to be connected to send outputs to your desktop or other tools. If you sign out of Neurocad, you will likely have to sign into Neurocad Link again, too.

Mac user tip:  On macOS the installer is a DMG file. After mounting, drag the app to Applications. Then go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Allow if macOS prompts you to authorize it.

Then proceed to Connect and credentials to get you started.
