ATLANTA, GA, July 21, 2026 -- Neurocad, Inc. today announced the public launch of its AI execution infrastructure for hardware engineering: an intent compiler that turns datasheets, package drawings, reference designs, tables, sketches, and engineering instructions into verified assets for electronic design automation, mechanical CAD, simulation, and downstream engineering workflows.

“Engineers lose 30 to 60 percent of every design cycle before real engineering begins,” Berggren said. “That's the reconciliation tax. They read datasheets, interpret drawings, rebuild the same component as a symbol, footprint, 3D model, and simulation model, then repeat that work across tools. It is the most expensive transcription service in the world. We did not set out to make that work five percent faster. We set out to delete it.”
From documentation to design-ready assets
Semiconductor manufacturers publish the information engineers need to use their devices, but much of it arrives in static formats such as PDFs, drawings, tables, and application notes.
Before a component can enter a product, engineers often have to reconstruct that information manually inside their design systems.
Neurocad™ reads the source material, extracts the underlying engineering intent, and builds a structured model containing parts, pins, dimensions, tolerances, geometry, relationships, and constraints.

Verification before use
Neurocad™ also verifies the assets it creates for supported workflows. Its verification pipeline can run generated models and compare their behavior with performance information contained in the original engineering source.
“Every AI company can generate something,” Berggren said. “The question in hardware is whether an engineer can trust it. We make the AI take the test afterward. In software, a hallucination may become a bug report. In hardware, it can become a failed board, a manufacturing delay, or a costly respin. Verification is not an added feature. It is the reason this product can exist.”
Neurocad's verification approach is the subject of two patent-pending applications filed in 2025.
Infrastructure for semiconductor adoption
Neurocad™ is also designed to help semiconductor companies make their products easier to adopt.
A datasheet may describe a device, but customers still have to turn that information into working design assets before they can use it. Neurocad provides an intent layer between semiconductor content and the CAD, EDA, simulation, and manufacturing systems used by customers.
“Semiconductor companies should not have to become CAD companies to make their devices easier to use,” Berggren said. “They need their technical content to work across the systems their customers already own.”
The company's architecture does not depend on one CAD vendor, file format, or software licensing model. The same source information can support incumbent design platforms, open-source tools, OEM environments, and AI-agent workflows.
